At RDC, we combine the worlds of cheer and dance into a prestigious training and competitive center. We offer recreational classes, clinics, and camps in the areas of dance, cheer, and tumbling, and we offer beginner-advanced competitive experiences in both cheer and dance. We pride ourselves on providing top notch training, while maintaining the small town community atmosphere that we know and love. Lauren Tatum
Owner & Director
Lauren is a dance veteran of 29 years and trained at several studios in the Mobile Area. She has competed in dozens of competitions across the US. She has taught dance at Starmakers', Rising Stars, GCDA, and Dancers' Pointe in New Orleans. Lauren auditioned for and was accepted into the prestigious dance department at The University of Alabama, but ultimately decided to pursue a career in Special Education. She taught in Baldwin County and Louisiana for 10 years. Lauren taught for several years in Bay Minette schools, where she was the Dance Team Coach for BMIS. Lauren has been the Owner & Director of Just Dance!, now Reign, for six years now and has taken enrollment from 50 kids to 200! Mrs. Lauren recently brought competitive cheer to Bay Minette and the program is growing enormously. Lauren knows that owning a dance studio & cheer gym is more than just providing quality instruction, it's about kids forming special relationships, staying safe, keeping their bodies healthy, and gaining confidence.

Chance Broughton
All-Star Coach
Chance Broughton was a competitive power tumbling and trampoline athlete for 6 years. He ranked Top 9 in the Nation on double mini, Top 12 in the Nation on floor, and Top 15 on trampoline. Chance was a University of Mobile cheerleader for 5 years and was a UCA staff member for 9 years. During his time working for Varsity he taught high school, all-star and college camps as well as worked various events across the United States and London. He was Assistant Spirit Coordinator at Spring Hill College for 2 years. He is a former Assistant Cheerleading Coach of Faulkner State Community College where he coached for 4 years. During his time at Faulkner, he helped coach the teams to win 2 National Titles! He has been coaching tumbling/competitive cheerleading for 28 years at various gyms, accomplishing many regional, state, national, and world titles/championships, including USASF World Championships, D2 Summit and Allstar World Championships (WOW!) In addition, his award winning choreography has been seen across the Nation for over 24 years. Chance himself competed at The Cheerleading Worlds in 2014. Coach Chance is known for the incredible relationships he builds with his athletes, which leads to ultimate success. His athletes stay in touch with him years after the coaching relationship has ended (myself being a prime example!) and we can't wait for our students at Reign to get to know and love him!

Taylor Whyte
Instructor & Choreographer
Taylor was trained extensively at Sheffield School of The Dance, and traveled with their nationally recognized competition team. In 2015, Taylor was chosen as an Elite Dancer at West Coast Dance Explosion, which included the highest scholarship available and an invitation to perform in Las Vegas with Heather Headily, a Grammy and Tony award winner. Taylor also auditioned for and was chosen to participate in Fuzion, a Nationally Recognized Traveling Team for the popular dance competition, West Coast Dance Explosion. As a part of Fuzion, Taylor toured and trained in Georgia, South Carolina, Texas, and California. While in Las Vegas, Taylor auditioned for and was accepted into the prestigious American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA) in California where she received uncomparable training. Taylor then spent a year in the dance department at Southern Miss, and has decided to finish her degree at South so that she can choreograph for local dance studios.

Jeff Cain
Master Ballet Teacher
Jeff Cain has danced throughout the United States and abroad, and as a soloist for Garden State Ballet, where he studied extensively with Fred and Steve Danielli. Jeff also studied with Brooks Jackson. Both, Mr. Jackson, and Mr. Danielli having been with the first company of New York City Ballet. Other training of note was with David Howard of David Howard Studios, and with Wilheim Burmann and Bobby Blankshine - Steps Studio, New York, to name a few. Studies of Jazz and Theater Dance: Frank Hatchett and Gregory Hines of Broadway Dance, Anne Reinking, Ronnie DeMarco, and Cecilia Marta to highlight a few. He has judged dance competitions for companies such as "Showstoppers" throughout his career, and has taught in New York and Los Angeles, as well as Master Classes throughout his travels. Locally, Jeff has privately trained dancers for International Ballet Competitions and has helped place dancers in prestigious programs, both in the States as well as in.Europe He has served as Ballet Master, and Co-Artistic Director with Classical Ballet Of Mobile, and with Ballet in Mobile Opera Productions. Jeff has had rolls in Daytime Television, guest starring rolls in Primetime and Film, and has appeared in many commercials. He has many theatrical credits, including originating the roll of "Chester," in the South African production of, "A Little Life Like This." He's an award winning writer and producer, currently shopping scripts in Hollywood. Jeff grew up in Fairhope, and is happy to be back in South Alabama, to share some of his experience.

Sara Miller
All-Star Coach
Sara has been in the cheer and dance world since she was T W O years old, dancing at Robinson’s School of Dance and cheering at Causey Middle, Baker High, and The University of South Alabama! Mrs. Sara danced competitively for a short time, and also participated in dance classes at Baker High. Sara coached our first competitive cheer team- they earned TWO first place awards, as well as the coveted title of GRAND CHAMPTIONS! We have Loved Having Coach Sara back on our Staff!

Whitney StEWARt
Instructor & Coach
We are so honored to have Coach Whitney as part of our awesome team! Whitney took gymnastics and dance classes as a child, and also cheered for the city league for many years. She cheered at Baldwin County High School all four years, and was Captain her junior and senior year! Whitney tumbled at the elite Gem of Champions in Daphne, and could throw amazing back tucks and layouts (still can!) Whitney is a wonderful cheer & tumbling coach, but more importantly, she's a solid rock in the lives of the kids she coaches. She brings her best self to every single practice, and the kids value how she makes them feel safe, loved, and appreicated.

Cassie Mclain
Instructor & Coach
Cassie has been a wonderful AsseT To Reign! Cassie has years of experience as school and competitive cheerleader. Reign STudenTs love working with her and watching her tumble! Cassie's favorITE color is pink, her favorITE food is chicken Tenders, AND SHE ENJOYS HANGING WIH FRIENDS AND FAMILY!

Sharon NortH
Instructor & Coach
MRS. SHARON COMES TO US FROM MISSOURI, AND SHE HAS OVER 40 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE FROM WORKING AT HER MOTHER’S STUDIO, AND M & M DANCE ACADEMY. SHARON SPECIALIZES IN ACROBATICS AND RHYTHMIC TAP. The students and staff of RDC have absolutely loved Ms. Sharon. Her wealth of knowledge and her desire to help children be successful in life and in dance and tumbling has been a remarkable asset.
